The 15/0 Delica (DBS) is the smallest of the four sizes of Delica bead, and is available in hundreds of colors and finishes. Delicas are precisely cut glass cylinder beads with a rounded surface and two flat ends. In bead weaving, rows and columns of Delicas uniformly line up to create a flat surface that highlights pattern work. The diameter of the hole is large in proportion to the bead size, which allows them to be used in projects requiring very small beads and intricate details.
Miyuki is Japan's oldest and most beloved seed bead manufacturer. Their meticulous craftsmanship combines creativity and state of the art manufacturing. Miyuki beads are world-renowned for their quality, uniformity, and expansive library of beautiful colors and finishes.

THE UKTENA AND THE ULĂĂSĂâ˛TÄŹ
Long agoâhÄlahiâ˛yuâwhen the Sun became angry at the people on earth and sent a sickness to destroy them, the Little Men changed a man into a monster snake, which they called Uktena, âThe Keen-eyed,â and sent him to kill her. He failed to do the work, and the Rattlesnake had to be sent instead, which made the Uktena so jealous and angry that the people were afraid of him and had him taken up to GÄlÝùâ˛lÄtÄ, to stay with the other dangerous things. He left others behind him, though, nearly as large and dangerous as himself, and they hide now in deep pools in the river and about lonely passes in the high mountains, the places which the Cherokee call âWhere the Uktena stays.â
