Sage Black Deerskin Arapaho Medicine Bag
The Sage Arapaho Medicine Bag
This Native American medicine bag is beaded with tiny glass seed beads and glass crow beads.
Seed Bead Color: Frosted Green Iris, Frosted Sage
Neck Cord Bead Color : Green Iris and Sage
I also include with each medicine bag a mini bundle of buffalo hair for strength. The Buffalo hair was gathered at a buffalo ranch in Kentucky.
Sage for blessing the buckskin bag. The Sage was collected in the mountains of New Mexico in the traditional way with a tobacco offering.
A quarts crystal for healing. The crystal was gathered in Hot Springs Arkansas.
The medicine bag is made of soft deerskin in a rich saddle color with a mahogany tint and antiqued around the edges with stain to give it that vintage look.
It is a draw string style bag approximately 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" in size and has a neck strap approximately 28" also made of deerskin.
Each bag comes signed and comes with a certificate of Authenticity.
Your bag will be delivered gift boxed.
My story of the Arapaho Medicine bag:
15 years ago, I met an Arapaho women who made these American Indian medicine bags. She showed me the technique to take with me on my travels and have been making the medicine bags ever since.
Thank you for looking at my Cherokee beaded jewelry.
